Apple has just sent an e-mail to well-known sites like Gizmodo and invited them to an event that they're holding on April 8 at 10 AM. Apple will be giving a demo of the new iPhone operating system, iPhone OS 4.0 on this date. Last year Apple demoed iPhone OS 3.0 in March, but due to the iPad they had to delay the demo of the iPhone OS 4.0 software this year. It's about time Apple finally released a whole new operating system. One of the most requested features of the iPhone OS is multi-tasking, and Apple has yet to add support for this.
