Default audio source?

I recently purchased a Panasonic cordless phone for my home that uses Bluetooth to pair with the iPhone. Whenever it is paired, the iPhone always defaults to the Panasonic handset when making a call. This is very irritating as, for some reason, the handset won't accept a call initiated from the iPhone. I can use the handset to dial out, from the handset, but I cannot select a contact on the phone and have the call placed through the handset. I don't mind this drawback. However, when I make a call from my iPhone, I want my iPhone to act as the default source. Otherwise, I have to quickly remember to switch sources before the other side answers and hears nothing. Annoying. So, how can I set my default audio source to be my iPhone when initiating a call from the phone? Thanks, Rob 24" Intel iMac, Mac Mini (Intel)   Mac OS X (10.5.4)
