iPhone audiobook/music

I have read through all the posts on this issue and am aware that the iPhone will only sync to one user. I have music in one user & audio books in another. (My user is also different) So that I don't have to keep changing the import settings and can better manage to two. Is there ANY way to sync these to my iphone - I am open to any suggestions. Possibly some way to combine the two users into my user while still keeping them separate? Right now, my iPhone sync's to my user, which has the iTunes library pointing to the "music user" and I copy audiobooks into it, and delete them from my iTunes when I am done. It stinks that my children's new ipod touches work fine, but my iphone does not. Thanks for any suggestion. Betsy 17" G4 PB / G5 Desktop   Mac OS X (10.4.7)
