OK, so I have set up the "remote" app, and when in the home WiFi network I see my entire music collection as iTunes sees it (which means it is incomplete, but that is an iTunes issue). I can remotely control what iTunes plays using the iPhone. Nice.
But what I really want is have the iPhone update itself via the home WiFi network whenever there is a change in the playlists it is supposed to synch up with - and not have to hook it up every time via USB. It would also be nice to be able to create playlists from the iTunes library and have the iPhone download the songs via wiFi.
Is that possible? iphone, ipod Windows Vista Windows Vista Ultimate 64 and Ubuntu dual boot

WiFi music sync is not supported. You've got to use a cable. Lenovo T-60, Intel iMac (x2), Ubuntu 7, iPhone Classic Windows XP Pro Leopard 10.5.4

This is not possible.
iTunes content can be transferred from a computer to the iPhone via the iTunes sync process only with a USB connection. ? PowerBook G4 17-inch/1.67GHz/2GB RAM Mac OS X (10.5.5) 7200rpm-100GB HD, ? iPod w/Video 30GB, ? iPhone 3G 16GB
