No, the falling Apple logo on the Google hompage doesn't have anything to do with Apple Inc. It is there to celebrate the birthday of Sir Isaac Newton. I believe this is the first time I've ever seen Google use an animated logo on their front page. I like it! Google is using javascript so the animation should work on most browsers. I tried it on my iPhone using the Safari browser and it does work! To view the Isaac Newton Google Doodle on your iPhone just go to http://www.google.com and click View Google in: Classic. The homepage will come up and you will see the Apple logo falling down.
