My contact's info was lost on my phone. The contacts are still listed, but their information is gone. I still have it all on my computer and .mac/.me account, but I cannot get it to sync back up to my iPhone.

Since updating to 2.2 this has happened to me, although I haven't lost all my contacts.
I have 460 contacts in my Address Book which were syncing fine with my iPhone under 2.1 but since the update I've lost exactly 84 contacts on my iPhone. These 84 contacts haven't been deleted from my Address Book they've only gone from the phone.
What's strange is that if I add a new contact to the phone or the book that will sync up OK, it just seems to be a certain amount of contacts although I know how many there are by looking at the quantity of cards, I can't tell which ones are missing without going through them one by one.
Maybe the only solution is to backup my Contacts, delete them all from Address Book, reimport and sync again?
Any clues?

I suggest resetting the sync history on your Mac, which is done via iSync preferences with the iSync application located in your Applications folder.
Quit iTunes followed by launching iSync.
At iSync preferences, select reset sync history.
After this is selected, restart your Mac and try syncing again. ? PowerBook G4 17-inch/1.67GHz/2GB RAM Mac OS X (10.5.5) 7200rpm-100GB HD, ? iPod w/Video 30GB, ? iPhone 3G 16GB

If you are syncing contact info over the air with your MobileMe account on your iPhone, turn Contacts off followed by turning Contacts on.
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select your MobileMe account.
Turn Contacts Off and wait a few minutes. Follow this by turning Contacts on. ? PowerBook G4 17-inch/1.67GHz/2GB RAM Mac OS X (10.5.5) 7200rpm-100GB HD, ? iPod w/Video 30GB, ? iPhone 3G 16GB
