need help putting music albums on my iphone

hi i just bought the new iphone is it possible to put my music albums on my iphone i really dont have a clue to do it and any help would be great iv been told you cant do this and u can only put them on playlists. i did have a go myself just on the ipod sync page i couldnt find any of my albums only the genres i selected the genre i wanted but only wanted a couple albums on the iphone but it done the lot i thought u could select the sertain albums u wanted but not all of them thanks 4 your help.
