Because the Summer Olympics happening in Beijing is fast approaching, a new product for the iPhone has been launched. De Vere, a famous diamond jeweller from London revealed his latest creation called Beijing Olympic iPhone, also known as the Diamond iPhone.
The product that commemorates the Beijing Olympics has tons of diamonds (88 diamonds to be precise) located at the front metal bezel. The Beijing Olympic iPhone or Diamond iPhone’s design was made to coincide with the Olympics’ opening day which would happen on August 8. You can see a date at De Vere’s creation that reads 08/08. These are the same numbers that means wealth as believed by the Chinese.
Ironically, this (wealth) is something that you need before you can buy the Beijing Olympic iPhone. You must prepare $8,219 so that De Vere can set the white diamonds on the iPhone. But you have to prepare extra money so that you can provide the iPhone needed before the diamonds were set.
